Accidents and Serious Incidents
This accident database contains information dating back to 2001 relative to civil aviation accidents and incidents within the Bahamas and its territorial waters.
Generally, a preliminary report is available online within a few days of an accident.
Factual information is added when available, and when the investigation is completed, the preliminary report is replaced with a final report with a complete description of the accident and its probable cause (if determined).
Full narrative descriptions may not be available for dates before 2001, cases under revision, cases not underlined in the database listing, or where AAIA did not have primary investigative responsibility.
